pro-junior

The kids played in their first golf tournament today!  Gramma, Grampa, and Daddy bought the kids new "big kid" golf clubs.  Today, they broke them in.  Best part?  They got to play WITH Daddy!  This tournament really is a lot of fun.  Each year Tam O'Shanter hosts the Pro-Junior tournament, and after the match the kids all get to attend the Mariners game.  Double win.  The kids did pretty well for being their first time on the course.  The team took 3rd, and Ava won 1st place for the long drive in her age division!

As a kid I really didn't like golf, but my Papa did.  He tried to get me to play.  Looking back I wish that I had taken more time to try...not to grow a love for the game of golf...but to just spend time with him.  He would have loved seeing these two play and enjoy a game he loved.
