rosemary's hymn...

I wanted to share this hymn (with Rosie's permission) my cousin wrote. I am still amazed at what she was able to write in the midst of it all. Her spiritual strength, maturity, and reliance on the Lord gave her this praise back to Him. Thank you for allowing me to share it...
Children of our Lord and Savior
Lift your hearts to Him and pray,
Pray that He may grant us wisdom
As we face another day.
That our hands would serve Him only,
That our lips would sing His praise,
That His love would fill us always
And would grow through all our days

For this World which He has given,
Is now stained with guilt and sin
Hearts as ours, so frail and shallow
Can be quickly taken in.
Idle joys and earthly pleasures
Blind us from His lasting light.
We will fall into destruction
Save, the Lord for us will fight.

So oh Father, hear and answer,
Keep our hearts Lord, close to Thine.
Let the lures that will surround us,
Never dim your love divine.
With your aid, we’ll fight and conquer,
Yours will be the victory!
To yourself now tune our voices,
Let us sing eternally.
