Fall is here! Some of my favorite moments from October.
Run a mile. Check. Halloween. Check. Go Hawks. Check.
Our fall has been really mild and full of sunshine...until we wanted to go to the pumpkin patch. Rain. Rain. Rain. The first day we had a break in the weather? Saturday. Guess who else went to the pumpkin patch on the only non-rainy AND weekend day this week? Everyone in King County.
Determined to make the most of it anyway, we decided to go in. Corn maze. Kettle corn. Corn on the cob. And pumpkins...lots and lots of pumpkins.
Sisters.
Corn Maze here we come....without Brian. If you don't hear from us by 10 pm please send help.

I love this little lady.
We decided to mix it up a little this year and try a pumpkin patch a little closer to home. Carpinito Brothers isn't too far, and has a pretty great corn maze, so here we come! First stop, the traditional "How Tall This Fall" sign. Adding LuLu to the mix this year was such fun.
On to the maze! This was Katie's first real outing after being down with such horrible pregnancy sickness. She did great! Lucy wasn't quite big enough to walk both mazes, and required a lift from auntie. She thanked me with a lovely elbow massage to the head. I was quite happy to oblige, especially since last year at this time I couldn't make it through the maze (Achilles was a killer).

Annual trip to the pumpkin patch! I love this time of year. Welcoming fall, wearing sweaters, drinking hot tea, corn maze...love it. Unfortunately, for me who was wearing chilly fall clothing, it was super sunny and quite hot for October. My foot is still on the mend and walking around for what felt like DAYS in the corn maze was a little much. I look forward to next year when we can race and teams and I will make it through without feeling the need to lay down, and call search and rescue to find me.
We also met the Bond ladies at the barn!
