small storm, big fun
It was a quick, small storm but these guys made the most of it. Plus, we managed to work in a school lesson. Bam!

snow days!
Who could have imagined Seattle would have snow BEFORE Thanksgiving? Nuts! Of course Ava pulled me out of bed yesterday and couldn't wait to get out in it. For all those years I dragged you out in the snow to play....I'm sorry mom.
Day 1: Ava thought it might be fun to try snow biking...safety first.

...which quickly turned to get mommy with snowballs!

What a good big sister.

...he gave it a really good effort.

CHEESE!

Day 2: Today was much colder. This is what cold looks like.

Ava had to watch another kid go first, then she decided it would be fun.

Then Noah had to try. Take note, this is such a happy face.

Still having fun, but just seconds later....tragedy. Crash and burn. Literally. He has a red skid mark on his face.

I guess we didn't have enough snow at our house because Ava announced she was carrying this home from the park.

Remember snow angels? This one turned out pretty well. Time to get inside, get warm, and drink hot chocolate!
