Our first ever Mariners spring training game, and it's Brian's birthday! The weather was perfect, the kids were really excited, and we just happen to know an awesome family with tickets. A huge thank you to Jeremy for the tickets, and to his lovely family for meeting us there. Lisa was so sweet and even brought Brian birthday cupcakes. Awesome.
Play ball!
Ava and Alexis fast became best buddies. They were playing their own private game of hide from the cotton candy man. Adorable.
After the game the kids lined up to run the bases. Ava and Alexis held hands the whole way around, so cute!
Noah was on a mission. Once they gave him the "go" he was off. This boy is ready to play ball. (never mind that he's nowhere near hitting first base)
Family night out at the game. Ava was dressed and ready! (pom poms and all). They cheered for Felix, even when they were on offense. Once he was out of the game...so were they.
Crazy faces! (these come a little too easy for them)
While this wasn't officially Ava's first game I think it will be the first one she actually "attended." Our friends Jeremy and Lisa invited us to a suite to watch the game on Saturday night. They have a sweet little girl, Alexis, that Ava was quite taken with. Jeremy works for the Mariners and we love getting invited to see the game from a suite. Spoils you rotten though, the bleachers just don't cut it after that.
Ava's favorite parts of the evening were the Mariner Moose, holding baby Alexis, having Cotton Candy (no, mommy was not there when this happened), ice-cream, and staying up WAY past her bedtime!
