Just like that...another school year is upon us. My sweet little lady is in her final year of grade school, and this little man is starting 4th grade. I'm deeply grateful for the opportunity to be their teacher and their mama. They make me proud.
Look at these two! Starting with Preschool for Ava through 6th grade!
It's that time again, first day of school! I can't believe these two are entering 3rd and 5th grade. We had our traditional treat and 1st day of school photo. This year we are at the Joneses for school on Monday's. Since the kids have so much fun there, which usually involves tromping through the woods, these clothes were shed the second they walked in the door. Play clothes on, ready for action.
Why do I love homeschool? One of the reasons is we get to say when we start, and in the PNW the month of September is beautiful. We were able to start our co-op on October 2nd this year. Blessed.
First stop, traditional doughnuts...this year from Top Pot!
2nd and 4th Grade looks good on these two. I can't believe how big they are.
I am SO excited to start school this year. We joined three amazing families this year in our first co-op venture. This also required us to switch curriculum (again) to Classical Conversations. I'm excited, did I mention, I'm excited? More importantly, the kids are excited.
These big kids...
After our first (awesome) day of school, we met our cousins for a walk and salmon education.
These are some of my favorites from our Cedar River school photos. My sister is the best at capturing these two. The personality! Noah wasn't really in the mood....but then again he never really is in the mood to have his picture taken.
