august adventures...olallie

One of the BEST finds of our whole summer (thank you Jones family) was Olallie State Park.  The River is beautiful, quiet, and perfect for the kids to adventure and swim.  We spent a LOT of time here and loved each and every time more than the last.  We will definitely be back next summer.

1. Great spot to warm up and plan the next venture, 2. The Pink Flamingo, 3. The Bridge, 4. "Olafs"

This. All. Day. Long. Their very own little swimming hole. Perfection. Thanks Lord.

...and this.  Memories are made here.

The girls took turns floating the river with this sassy gal.

august adventures...snoqualmie river hot tub

These guys have the BEST imaginations.  They are great friends and truly know how to just play and be kids.

Why not make a hot tub at the river?
Our "secret" spot along the Snoqualmie River was a favorite this summer.  The kids could adventure up river a little bit and feel like they were worlds away.  Someone had left a river tube in the parking lot.  It seemed perfectly fine so Mrs. Jones snagged it and the kids had the best day ever.

august adventures...tolt park

It was a HOT one today!  I am so glad we adventured with the Arnold's at Tolt Park.  The cousin friends got to enjoy some river adventures, a little blackberry picking, and finally a campfire to close out our day.  Day camping is the best.  Auntie Lorna is the best.  Seriously.  The. Best.

july adventures....snoqualmie

Next up? A little secret beach along the Snoqualmie River. It was beautiful. The kids were in a perfect little paradise. They put on their life jackets and floated down the river, had rock throwing contests, panned for "gold," and explored their hearts out.

That wasn't all...why not his the town? Snoqualmie, here we come. Man it was HOT. Again, such PERSONALITY!!!

But this was adventuring with Shira Jones. We weren't done yet. There's an amazing park on the way home...I think Noah's sweaty hair says it all.
