We've been working with Noah on handling his disappointments with a little more...grace. Some of his performances could win him an Oscar. Really. You have to see it to believe a 1 year old is capable of doing what he does.
For example, in order to curb some of the trauma of leaving the park we say "bye bye park." What? It totally worked for Ava. Up until this point, however, I really felt these life lessons were falling on very deaf ears.
This morning after getting Noah up and dressed I asked him if he wanted to go eat breakfast. After I was met with an enthusiastic "hmmmmm hmmm," rather than coming with me...Noah picked up his monkey and walked to the bed to put him away. After successfully launching Monkey back into the crib, as Noah was walking away, he turned around and went back to say "bye bye" to the monkey. Twice.
Man I love this kid.
