jingle bells...

Tonight Ava went to her Awana and the focus this week was on Christmas.

Me: What did you do at Awana tonight?
Ava: We had TWO cookies!
Me: Wow, that's pretty special.
Ava: We did not sing Father Abraham tonight.
Me: Oh, what did you sing instead?
Ava: My friend's favorite song is Jingle Bells. Mrs. Sanchez and Mrs. Newman were singing it, but they were singing it wrong.
Me: (okaaaaaay) Why were they singing it wrong?
Ava: They were singing "jingle bell, jingle bell, rock" ....but that's wrong. Jingle bells don't come from rocks!
