sweet moment...

These moments can sometimes be few and far between, but I treasure each one.

Last night as I was headed to bed, around 11:30 pm, I checked on Noah and Ava as usual. First was Noah, sound asleep, on his back, legs in the air leaned up against the crib. Don't you wish you still slept that soundly? Next came Ava, legs outside her blankets, arms all over the place, out of it. As I tried to stealthily move her legs back under the covers she sat straight up.

Me: Hi honey, it's just mommy.
Ava: Hi...(very sleepy, then she gave me the biggest hug).
Me: I love you sweetheart.
Ava: I love you too mommy.

Melt. My. Heart.
