I'll be posting a little letter for each of the kids birthday's (yes...they were in May) soon. For now, here is a little story about how I received a linguistics lesson from Ava.
(we are driving in the car...)
Ava: Obereaster plah do sinta dee dee (complete giberish)
Ava: ...and Mommy, that is Spanish.
Me: What? No, that is not Spanish.
Ava: French?
At this point I am laughing so hard I could hardly drive the car.

Mom, it's "cootish"...just saying...as the author of the language, I know these things.

PS - How on earth did she figure out Spanish and French are languages? CRACKS ME UP!
