catching up...

I was going through my pictures from this spring/summer, and came across some fun ones.

Mardi Gras? They both got US Open hats from their Aunt Karen and Uncle Bob. The beads? These guys just like to accessorize.

One of Ava's birthday presents was a tea set from Nana. I've found Ava many times in her room chatting away and having a marvelous time. The dolls are fun, but she can't wait to have a friend over to partake in the tea party.

This is how the Coury's do Father's Day. (yes, they were watching the Master's)

June 21, 2010 - Ava's first movie! She has been talking about this ever since. Each time we go past the movie theater she reminds me about her big girl movie. Daddy's previewed and gave it the "okay." I still thought she would get a little scared because it was dark and loud. Nope. She sat there in her seat with her bag of M & M's (a RARE treat), and enjoyed each minute of the movie. She didn't squirm or talk during the entire movie. The only hitch being she wasn't heavy enough to keep the seat unfolded! It kept trying to swallow her up, and we finally transitioned to a lap.

I think she liked it....
