I am very, very blessed on special occasions such as this one. The day started with my sweet Ava coming in to say, "hi mommy, happy anniversary." Brian had told her to say that the night before, but the fact that she remembered was so cute! He had already left for work and she got it all on her own. There were other fun little surprised throughout the day as well. We had a delicious lunch and a very kind, and observant, waiter. He noticed a card on the table and asked if we were celebrating something. We told him it was our anniversary and he gave us free dessert. YUM!
We ended the day by taking Ava to her Vacation Bible School celebration night. Our church, I have to say, doesn't mess around when it comes to a celebration. There were about a dozen huge inflatables taking up the entire lower parking lot, carnival food, and booths. It was crazy! She had the best time and it was pretty fun to see her bouncing around, especially after Brian gave her cotton candy...at 8 pm.
I could go on, but I'll just say...I love you Brian... and call it a day.
