You've had such a year. Five years ago I met the most amazing little girl. She has brought me such joy, to look at her makes my heart hurt I love her so much. She has brought such delight to our hearts. We pray that she would be a gift of joy to others. We pray that she would find her delight in the Lord and live her life to make His glory known. We love you sweet girl.

Ava's birthday started with a special treat from Daddy at the breakfast table. Ava loves getting flowers from Daddy.
For her birthday this year Ava wanted to have her special friend Evelyn over. When I asked her where she'd like to eat lunch she, of course, said RED ROBIN! Once there, however, she needed a little convincing from Evelyn to have them sing to her....
Later the girls dressed up and then watched Ava's new favorite movie Tangled.
Later in the day we celebrated with family. She has her first set of big girl golf clubs! This year she chose the swimming pool cake, but when I say this year I literally mean a year ago today. At last year's birthday she informed me that next year she wanted the pool cake. This girl knows what she wants! Just like the "twinkle toes" shoes. That's all she asked for, and five stores later we found them in her size.
