tea time

About a week ago Ava received her very own invitation to a tea party hosted by none other than her buzzin cousin Rosie. She was excited, no...that's not enough, ELATED to receive her very own mail. What I loved was watching her read it herself.

Saturday finally arrived (if you ask Ava it took its own sweet time about it) and the day couldn't have been more beautiful. We've had a bit of a cool summer here but not today. It was down-right hot!

The invitation said come in your "fanciest" dress. Music to my little girls ears. She settled on her pink dress-up gown, complete with petticoat, and accessories. Thank you Rosie, Tori, and Xan for putting together such a lovely tea party! Ava will be talking about this for weeks to come. All the young ladies were just lovely.
