end of summer

We had some fun end of summer days full of good memories. It seemed like only the last part of August and early September were our warmest days. We tried to take full advantage!

Bike riding:


Hiking: This was at Denny Creek



...and the post hike hot chocolate! It was chilly! Followed by roasting marshmallows at home. Yum.
Vasa Park - Lake Sammamish: The kids had a great time. They even tried some "swimming" but decided to build sandcastles instead. I love summer.

ICE-CREAM!

The RV: Wildlife at the RV, beautiful berries, and acres of possibilities. I love the picture Katie took of the blackberries.
