Watching the kids with their stockings was a lot of fun this year. They had to be restrained in the front room while Nana, Papa, and Auntie Katie came in to see them open.
Noah asked for a violin, and enjoyed his McQueen pez. This year I didn't really put a limit on the candy from their stockings. My mistake. Both pez and jellly bellies were gone in about 10 min.
This year Ava asked for Jaq and Gus Gus (mice from Cinderella) . She also enjoyed her new stash of "lipstock".
I was very happy that Grandfather joined us, even though he left a little early to attend a better party at Harrison House.
One of my favorite things this year was watching the kids give each other their gifts. It's just what you want to see, they were more excited to see the other person open the special treasure they had picked out just for them.
The boys had fun with the new McQueen cars.
Later in the day the kids had some fun playing football/soccer/ballet...it got pretty "heated".
