This year I took the kids to the Dollar Store on our way home from the grocery store. Being that this idea came to me on the spot I didn't really think it all the way through. I told the kids they could pick out a gift for Daddy and one for each other. What I didn't realize was how hard it would be for me, alone, to keep them apart yet not loose sight of them in the store. They wanted to be sure and keep their gifts for each other a secret. At one point Ava told me I needed to put Noah's gift that she picked out in my purse so he couldn't see it! When we got home the kids had a great time wrapping up their treasures for each other and the rest of the family. Despite it's challenges, this was one of my favorite moments of the season.
