This year the kids helped me make a gluten free cheesecake for daddy. It turned out pretty well! But let's back up a bit to before dessert...where to go for some good gluten free grub? Brian chose our favorite Mexican restaurant and we ate like kings.
When I asked the kids what they wanted to give daddy there were some pretty wild responses. And speaking of wild the kids finally settled on a "Man vs. Wild Survival Kit". Brian has been bragging, having seen every episode, that he could survive anywhere. I'm guessing that with this new kit he could manage the Phoenix desert, don't you think? For his gift I think we'll drive him out to the desert and drop him off for two days...see how Mr. Survival does. Oh, and the kids picked out his birthday card. Rocky theme. He can take that with him in the desert for inspiration.
