check ups

The kids had their check ups today and I'm happy to report they are still kids and still growing.

Ava - My sweet little girl remains slow and steady in the 5% for weight and 25% for height. It wins the race, right? She had to finish out her Chicken Pox vaccinations so only one shot for her. I think she shocked the nurse by doing a funny little dance move with her hands and had a really weird smile on her face. Noah saw her doing this and actually jumped at his turn to go next. (little did he know what was really coming). I was very proud of her for setting such a good example for Noah.

Noah - Little man! He weighs in around the 75 - 90% while his height was off the chart. Poor guy, he had to have three shots this time and was really not happy about that. He did come rather willingly after seeing Ava do her after shot happy dance. The first two weren't too bad, but the last one (MMR) was rough. I was SO proud of him. He muffled what few little sobs slipped out in my shoulder. He tried so hard not to cry...he was very brave.
