awana lesson comes to life

First, I really love our Awana program, as do Ava and Noah.  This year in Sparks Ava has a lesson on Elijah.  The boiled down version is Jezebel is killing all of God's prophets, Elijah is scared, and runs.  Once he's far away he's visited by an angel, and then by God.  He goes back and leads the remaining believers in God.  At one point in their biography it talked about Elijah hearing a message from queen Jezebel that she loved the fake god Baal, and that she wanted to kill Elijah.

In their Bible lesson yesterday we made Bible time costumes.  (basically a large piece of fabric with a neck hole cut out).  Today the kids were playing "Elijah and Jezebel".  What?  Your kids don't play that game?  It's great fun, and what mom doesn't want to hear her daughter referring to herself as Jezebel?
