santa claus is in town

As per our annual tradition we made the trek to downtown Seattle...destination Santa's Workshop.  Now that Katie is living here she was able to join us after work!  Very fun to have the McPhee's join our quest to the Nordstrom North Pole.

The line wasn't too bad when we arrived, I mean we've stood in MUCH longer.  We didn't have any wait time outside this year. As usual, the elves at the Nordstrom North Pole were exceptional, and offered the kids cookies while they waited. Noah enjoying the cookie...aaaaand the inevitable sugar rush that followed. Totally worth it.
Trying to keep the troops entertained while waiting. Waiting. Waiting.
Thank goodness for Wild Kratts!!!

Oh the anticipation! We are next...and then...they heard Santa call their name. Oh my.
This is my absolute favorite of the kids with Santa. Love it.

The photographer and elves at Nordstrom are amazing. Can't say enough good things about them. After you get your photo they tell you take as many of your own pictures as you want. Family photo!

Can I just say we had the BEST Santa ever?  Ever!  He was amazing. Spent extra time with the kids and really made the whole experience a great memory for our family. Love these conversational shots of the kids with Santa. Their expressions!
The McPhee's! (and the creeper in the background, a.k.a my husband)
We ended the night at Pacific Place with some clam chowder. Yum. As we entered the building wouldn't you know it was snowing! We made it just in time for the indoor snow (bubbles). Kids loved it. Um, not sure what Noah was doing in the last shot. Just suuuuuper excited about the snow. Or dinner. Or still on the sugar high.
