bowling

Last night I received an email from a good friend. She wanted to know if we were available for bowling today. Hmmmmm, house is a disaster, trying to finish Ava's school, so much to do....YES let's go bowling. That sounds WAY more fun. I am so glad we did.

The kids have never been bowling so this was a first and boy were they excited. Real bowling! For real mom! I'd say not bad for their first time.
Ava - She amazed me today. Such a little thing trying to bowl that big heavy ball WITH good form. She studied the man in the lane next to us, never said a word to me about it, and then tried to copy his form. It was fantastic. She even got a spare! What I love here the most is Noah's reaction. At the end his gets his little fists pump going and is more excited for Ava than she is for herself!

Noah - He had a really good time with his buddies. Once I told him what the air was used for he decided that was a good idea. Our friend Evan cracks me up in this video. He's so serious!  Noah had two different styles here...first was an attempt at proper form but that ball is so heavy!  The second, my favorite, was more of a shot-put/throw the ball down the alley.


This is the crew! The sequence of pictures is priceless. The first picture was taken within seconds of all the kids gathering together. The next three came in rapid fire right after. These guys clearly didn't have time for a silly picture when there was bowling to be done!
