We were beyond blessed today, the first day of May, with an 85 degree day. I think I've been reading too much Dr. Seuss with Noah. During spring break, a few weeks ago, I promised the kids a day at the beach. Well...the weather wasn't really great and our beach day ended up on Grammy Coury's birthday. Instead of the beach we spent a really nice afternoon working in the yard/garden with Grammy, and then went out for dinner! All that to say...I owed the kids a day at the beach. What better day than today?
Adding to the fun my cousin Tori and her littles joined us! Gwenna wanted Ava to carry her through the muddy part. It was pretty adorable.

The kids made friends with the sweet brown lab. They kept throwing balls of wet sand in the water and the pup kept coming back for more! Noah was quite taken with this sweet dog.

Sweet Amelia Quince! Sandy toes & salty kisses!
These three...such ham and CHEEEEEEEEESE. Cracks me up, Gwenna kept checking to be sure everyone was saying "cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese!"

Each kid took a turn and...oh my. First it was Ava, then Noah climbed up, and not to be outdone in the climbing department Gwenna! This was the face she made all on her own.

These two were quite the buddies. Sharing snacks and sneaking up on Ava.

Noah has been working with daddy on how to throw a baseball....this just cracks me up. He's teaching the little guy Tori watches how to throw using wet sand. What makes me really laugh is his form at the end when he actually throws. Thankfully his student was willing to oblige.
