merry christmas to all
Another year has gone by and it's Christmas again. The kids are very excited, and I'm grateful for that...especially this year. It's the first Christmas without my Papa. I miss him. My mom has been so strong. I know she misses him deeply. Yesterday would have been their anniversary. I'm grateful for children who have a magical way of healing hurting hearts.
There's no denying it...this was a very Harry Potter Christmas! Both kids have been reading and watching the first two HP books and movies. All they asked for this year was HP items.
Ava - robes and Hermione outfit, wand, cauldron
Noah - robes and Harry outfit, wand, glasses
Between Nana (robes and uniforms), Auntie (scarves), Uncle Seth (wands) and mommy (cauldron, ties, and glasses) I think we did a pretty great job making these two Hogwarts ready. Nana even made robes and outfit for Lucy! The littlest Gryffindor!
Doesn't Ava make a great Hermione?!
My little potion masters. Ava's face! I think she's pretty excited about becoming Hermione Granger. The last one is my favorite. Star Wars meets Harry Potter. Better not mess these ladies...you will have to go through Noah.
War zone. They're armed...and dangerous.
Grateful Grandfather could join us today. Isn't he adorable? 98 and looking great.
Some of the going-ons of the day. Grateful for joy and for God sending His son to be born as a man. The girls had matching dresses thanks to Nana!
One of my FAVORITE things is watching the kids exchange gifts from each other.
...and this little lady. She helped all of us get through the day. I mean look at that little face! Noah added the lightening scar for extra authenticity.
