happy #7 noah j
My little man is seven! What?! I can't believe how much he's grown. He was only seven months old when we moved into this house. When I think about how much he's changed in that time it amazes me.
Here he sleeps...his last night as a six year old.
A somewhat new tradition both the kids have decided they love...pick their own cereal for birthday breakfast. I offer to make them anything they'd like. Nope. Please give me sugar in a box. This year Noah went for The Avengers.
I love that last night he made his own decorations for the birthday seat, AND his room! After breakfast Noah FaceTime-ed Nana to open the gifts from her, and he was pretty excited! She got him the coolest lantern that makes your ceiling look like the stars are out. He loves it!
Since his birthday fell on a Wednesday that meant workout class in the morning, and the last Awana of the year in the evening. Noah wanted to go for a birthday hike, but there just wasn't enough time. Thankfully good friends were able to come over and help Noah celebrate! The Joneses played Wii, ate pizza and ice-cream, and engaged in an EPIC light saber battle. Noah was a pretty happy guy.
This one makes me smile, and makes my heart heavy. This is such a papa stance. I miss him.
What did he want for his dinner? Chocolate chip pancakes. Only Noah.
After Awana it was time for presents with daddy home and, instead of cake, ice-cream cones!
