One of my favorite hikes with the kids, Denny Creek.  We always enjoy the hike, the kids can do it pretty easily, and there's a fun waterfall and pool of water at the end to play in!
There are times when I miss my kids being littler than they are now...but then I am reminded how fun having older kids can be. These two love a good adventure. They remind me SO much of my brother and me when we were their age.
1) Off they go! I had to circle them in red just so you could see where they are in the picture. No fear, just adventure. 2) Ava, aka "the mountain goat," made a friend. 3) This is definitely a mini-me. I would totally have climbed up there when I was her age. My mountain side was usually the mast of the boat.
My mini!  It's hard to tell but her backside is quite wet from slipping and sitting in the water.  Her reaction?  "Whew!  Well that was refreshing."  Now that is not her mother, that sounds more like Auntie Lorna! (which makes me VERY happy)
