little blessings
My boy, my sweet boy. Noah has taken a shining to the "terrible-two's." His behavior of late has been somewhat trying, but each night my sweet boy returns at bedtime. (but not during the preparation!) Each night we get his snuggle blanket, get settled in the rocking chair, and "rock rock." Tonight, after a couple of minutes, I ask Noah if he's ready to say prayers. He sits straight up and says "yeah!" and folds his hands. When we're done and he says "amen!" he snuggles back in and asks me for "shhushine, and tars." (You Are My Sunhine - chorus, and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star) Tonight he sang both songs with me, in his little husky voice, adorable. Then, I asked if he was ready for bed. "Nnnnope, yittle mo rock rock." How could I say no? He then reached up with his sweet chubby little hands, put them tight around my neck, and said in his quiet little voice "need mommy." Thank you Lord for blessing me with these sweet little moments.
Love you buddy.
This was earlier today at the park:

Ava using her "muscles" to move the ball.
I love that you can see the set of Ava's jaw as she pushes the ball!
ReplyDeleteLove Noah's new hat!
