We were able to take a little family getaway to Leavenworth. Thanks to my fabulous Auntie Lorna, and her covert library negotiating and room booking skills, we stayed in a great two bedroom condo. As a result of this trip Brian and I came to the realization that we need to take more family vacations!

Goin on a bear hunt...seriously. The kind woman who checked us in warned us they've had several bear sightings this summer, and to be careful. Adventure!

This was Ava's favorite part. She was a prune for half the trip, and so excited that she could finally touch the bottom of the pool.

The daredevil. This kid has no fear. As a mommy I'm torn between being proud and terrified.

Our last day we ate the most delicious Italian meal for lunch...yes, I said Italian...in Leavenworth. I know.

The weather was warm the entire time, but the last day was the first time we saw the sun. We decided to hit the putt putt course on our way out of town. Apparently the lack of naps caught up to Noah..."I tired..."
