sam's birthday

Yesterday was Sam's 3rd birthday! We went to celebrate at the park and were treated to a tour of the local fire engine (well done Althoff's!). It was a hit with Noah to say the least. Ava wasn't quite as sure but she got into it at the end. Very fun!

This picture cracks me up because of Noah's reaction. Before boarding the fire engine the fire chief gave very specific instructions that NO buttons are to be touched. As Noah was sitting in the front seat a different fireman came by and told him to honk the horn! Noah looked at him with this face...."are you crazy? I was specifically told NO buttons and the horn is definitely a button, and a big one at that!"
