preschool & kindergarten

This year we started a little later than usual, but that was okay! We made our traditional stop at Starbucks for a tasty treat before heading to school. Yum!

Right. The boot on Ava's foot. That would be the result of a bouncy house mishap. Against my better judgement I decided to allow a 10 minute trip to the neighbor's bouncy house. They had it up for a birthday party, and four girls from next door came by to see if the kids could come over. About 5 minutes later they were bringing Ava back between their shoulders, in tears. She was really crying, and I knew she was hurt because she was crying in front of her friends! The ankle doubled in size the next morning. Poor girl. She wore the boot to keep it from rolling again.
