ava's first mani/pedi

My good friend Christy is having a baby!!!! What does this have to do with Ava's mani/pedi you ask? Well, she is such a sweet friend that for my birthday she treated me to a pedicure. It just so happens this was also the day of her baby shower. Ava loves to attend baby showers so I had already planned on bringing her. Thankfully, the Sweet Feet salon does kids pedicures too. Ava had NO idea the treat she was in for!

(let it be said that I didn't have my first pedicure until I was 23...Ava is 5)

I know Ava pretty well and she shocked me with her demeanor. She acted like this was something she did all the time! Just settled right in and got quite chatty. It helped that these ladies were AWESOME with her and made her feel comfortable. I mean, who wouldn't be with someone washing your feet and a zebra pillow?

This is more like it...Ava loves to people watch.


The finished product! (the boot sitting there was from Noah's broken leg, which Ava was using for her own badly sprained ankle...bouncy houses)
