auntie

This past weekend Tori, Rachel and I hosted my sister's bridal shower. Fun! One of the games was "guess my age" where I put pictures of Katie at all different ages on a board. The ladies had to put them in order from youngest to oldest. I had several of the pics in my albums, but some I had to print. Off to Costco (AGAIN) to pick them up. As we were waiting to pay for them I showed the pics to my kids.

Me: Hey guys, do you know who this is? (baby picture of Katie)
Kids: Uh....
Me: That's auntie when she was a baby.
Me: (next pic) Who is this?
Kids: AUNTIE!
Me: Right, how about this one?
Kids: AUNTIE! when she was little...
Me: This one?
Kids: Auntie when she was little...
Me: (next photo)
Kids: Auntie when she was little...
Me: (up until this point all the pics have been of her when she was really little, and then I show them this picture)

Ava: That's auntie when she's old and having a cow.

I'm sorry, but that was just too funny to me. I let out an embarrassingly loud laugh right in Costco. Ava, you crack my socks off.
