love you Lonnie Jr.

My cousin and friend Lonnie Jr. has gone home to be with Jesus. He is free and rejoicing with the Lord. On earth my heart aches, but I know I will see him again and that. will. be. sweet. Waiting will be the hardest part. I will so miss seeing your smile and hearing that giggle. My heart is breaking for Lonnie and Lorna, and the rest of the Arnold family. That family is so dear to my heart, and I feel incredibly blessed to have them in my life.

I don't have the words to express what's in my heart. Something that came quickly to mind was a song by Casting Crowns "Love Them Like Jesus." I felt a peace come over me, even during this storm of life, His yoke is easy, His burden is light. We don't need to have all the answers, just know that He loves us and will stay by our side. Amen.
