what in the world...

This actually happened several weeks ago, but I just got around to pulling the images off my iPod.

Noah is not known for his efficiency in room clean up.  (or any clean up for that matter).  Love him dearly, in fact I told him that the other day.  Well, what I actually said was "Noah, I could just eat you with a spoon."  His response?  "Do you like blood?"  Charming.

Right...back to the clean up debacle.  Nearly every day after quiet time Noah struggles with clean up.  On most days Ava (my all star cleaner) offers to help, and it takes all of my restraint to say no.  Things would go so much easier, not to mention faster, but he should clean up what he gets out.  Believe me, I've tried SO very many different ways to motivate and encourage him, but he just struggles.  This day was no different, except it was.  He held out for TWO hours!  Moaning, crying, wailing, begging, and then....silence.  I am downstairs finishing up Ava's school and realize it has been very quiet for the last 10 minutes.  Hmmm.

Scene:  Noah's doorway...

aaaand here we go into the belly of the beast.

Finally, we come to this poor little guy.  Just the mere thought of cleaning did this to him.

  1. aaaaaaw ... he is so SWEET when he's sleeping (and I can see Mr. Monkey all snuggled in with him.) He sure is a one man wrecking crew when he's left alone in a room. Ha! I'm glad you're recording this. LOVE you ... and him!
