black bleach

My son, I love him so much.  He comes up with some of the funniest things I've ever heard.  They are usually unexpected which adds to the hilarity.

Yesterday I was working in the yard, enjoying a gorgeous 80 degree September day in Seattle, and got rather hot and sweaty.  I usually take a shower at night after the kids are in bed, meaning they don't usually see my hair wet...I guess.

(I'm walking through the living room with a load of laundry)
Noah:  Mom!  I like your black hair.  It has some extra style in it.
Me:  Oh, well thank you buddy.
Noah:  Yeah...it's really black and pretty.  Did you put some black bleach in it?!

I love a five year old mind.  He knows bleach can change the color of something....so why not in the reverse?  It took me a minute to realize he doesn't see my hair that wet and down very much.  It was a compliment....I think.
