Ava: Mom, can I please bake banana bread?
Me: How can I resist a girl in a chef hat, sure you can.
Ava: Okay, but I don't want ANY help, okay? Not even a little. I can do it.
Me: Uh...sure. Why not.
Then, much to my delight, this chef did her own dishes! (and if you listen carefully, a mini-concert) She doesn't know I'm recording...it's kind of long but to me it's priceless. This is what happens a lot in our house. It really captures who Ava is at seven.

I LOVE the video. It felt like I was sitting right there at the counter. It was a bonus to have the "fog horn" go off in the middle of the song too. Ava didn't even jump.
