noah's room - take 1

I've been trying to figure out creative ways to decorate my kids rooms without painting, etc. My idea is to give them both things they can grow with but still have some sort of theme and style to the room.

Anyway, stage one for Noah's room was the addition of a homemade Roman shade. Now by homemade I mean my sister found the idea, sent it to me, then I took my mom shopping for the supplies. Once I picked out the fabric it was time to stop the procrastination and put the thing together. This is where my wonderful mother comes in...if it wasn't for her I would currently have a $10 set of blinds and a yard of nice fabric. Instead, I have the start of Noah's room and a beautiful Roman shade! (thank you mom!!!)
