Mr. Nap strikes again. After a very long time of wailing, shhhhushing, more wailing, and then quiet....Noah finally fell asleep. It is now 4:30 and I need to wake him up or he'll never go to bed tonight.
There he is, looking so sweet, cheeks all rosy.......blanket pulled up to his chin. WHY DIDN'T I SEE THIS COMING? Pull back the blanket......naked from the waist down. Everything is wet.
Me: Noah what have you done?
Noah: (very groggy)....take my pull-up off.
Me: Why? Why did you do that?
Noah: I did nuffing.
(sent to the bathroom, not that he had ANYTHING left to pee)
Me: Noah, what did you do that was naughty in your nap?
Noah: Uhhhh, I did nuffing.
Me: Noah?
Noah: Take off my pull-up.
Me: Are you going to do that again?
Noah: (in a low whisper voice) yyyyes.
Lord help me.
hmm.. stubborn anyone?? precious but stubborn..
